CYMEL® U-65 resin

CYMEL® U-65 resin by allnex is a cross-linking agent for backbone polymer resins containing hydroxyl functional groups. It is a high solid, solvent-free methylated urea resin. It offers low cost and stability. This product shows very good compatibility with alkyd- & polyester resins and good compatibility with acrylic- & epoxy resins. It is designed for use in water- and solvent-borne systems. It is used in fast curing baking enamels, water reducible wood finishes, low temperature curing conversion varnishes and paper coatings. The optimum level of CYMEL® U-65 resin in an acid curing wood coating formulation should be in the range of 25-35% on total resin solids. The shelf life of this product is 1440 days.
