Epotec® YDH 3000

Epotec® YDH 3000 by Aditya Birla Chemicals is a diglycidyl ether of hydrogenated bisphenol-A epoxy resin with cyclic rings of saturated bisphenol-A. This resin is expected to give good resistance to ultraviolet light and weathering which is a limitation when it comes to standard bisphenol-A based epoxy resins. It gives better non-yellowing characteristics and chalking resistance. The choice of curing agent also plays an important role in getting better performing formulations. Applications of Epotec® YDH 3000 include coatings for outdoor application on metal, wood and concrete surface, high solid coatings including baking finishes and modifier for industrial acrylic finishes.
