Calcium zinc molybdate. It is a corrosion inhibiting pigment. Imparts very good corrosion inhibiting performance while providing reduced toxic hazards. Offers very good color retention, water resistance, chemical resistance and good mechanical strength. No extra hiding pigment is necessary to conceal its color. Used in latex industrial maintenance coatings for protection of metal surfaces exposed to corrosive environments. Can be used in certain acrylic latex formulations for bridge or marine coatings in salt-water environments and all surface metal primers, self-priming coatings for application over a variety of substrates including clean hot or rolled steel, commercial blast cleaned rusty steel and wire-brushed rusty steel. Coatings can be prepared with enhanced adhesion over a variety of substrates.
