Biflair® 89 by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is a special effect industrial pigment. It is a highly lustrous silver dispersion which contains semi-transparent 55% bismuth oxychloride (BiOCl) paste, nitrocellulose and IPA. It is a liquid metal with interference effects. Biflair® 89 is used in coatings and solvent-borne printing inks.
