Polsperse™ 50

Pulverised hydrous kaolin. Polsperse™ 50 acts as an opacifying extender. It exhibits super dispersibility and reduction in paint manufacturer’s total titanium dioxide requirement, while at the same time making savings in the raw material cost per litre of paint since titanium dioxide extension is important in decorations. Provides replacement of up to 15% titanium dioxide in paint without any loss of opacity or other key properties. Possesses combination of TiO2 spacing with matting effects. Recommended applications include solvent-based decorative coatings like matt, primers & undercoats, industrial coatings like metal primers. But it can also be used in water-based decorative coatings like interior and exterior matts, undercoats, industrial coatings like traffic making paints.
