HALOX® CW-491

HALOX® CW-491 by ICL is a low-cost, moderate solubility calcium phosphosilicate-based corrosion inhibiting pigment. It is designed to provide mid-level corrosion protection. It is suitable for solvent-based epoxy, epoxy ester and short-, medium- & long oil alkyds.
  • It is also suitable for water-based epoxy, wash primers, direct-to-metal finishes, 2k solvent-based epoxies, water reducible alkyds, acrylics, polyvinyldichloride resins and polyesters.
  • HALOX® CW-491 is a white, non-refractive, zinc-, & heavy metal-free grade that is used for protective coating systems.
  • The dosage level of the grade is 5-8% based on total formula weight for water-based systems and 7-12% based on total formula weight for solvent-based systems.
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
