PhosGuard® J0852

Zinc phosphate. Acts as a lead and chrome free corrosion inhibiting pigment. It is highly versatile and cost effective. Zinc phosphate is relatively inert chemically and is used successfully in a broad range of aqueous and non-aqueous coating systems. Zinc phosphate low oil absorption and minimal effect on color as well as has little hiding power. The minimum recommended amount is 0.25 pounds per gallon up to a maximum of 4 pounds per gallon. PhosGuard® J0852 is used in the following specification coatings: MIL-P-53022A, MIL-P-53030, TT-P-664D, MIL-E-52891A.
