Ferrispec FP YV-2288

Yellow iron oxide. Exhibits acicular particle morphology. It is produced using a multi-step process which involves the precipitation of ferric oxyhydroxide followed by purification through washing, drying and milling. It is a low viscosity grade. Exhibits reduced viscosity in both solvent based and water-borne grinding systems when compared to standard grade yellow iron oxides. It is controlled to tight viscosity tolerances, allowing higher pigment loading and consistent grinding performance. Additionally, increased bulk density allows for reduced pigment loading or "wet out" time. The unique processing of these grades significantly reduces color variation.
