Tint-Ayd® ST 8451

Tint-Ayd® ST 8451 is a stable, free-flowing, iron oxide pigment dispersion by Chromaflo Technologies. It is used in high-performance single or two-component solvent-based industrial coatings. It is compatible with acrylic, nitrocellulose, vinyl acrylic, polyester, alkyd urea, cellulose acetate butyrate and chlorinated rubber. It is also compatible with two-component epoxy & urethane, epoxy ester, vinyl, alkyd melamine, and long-oil-, styrenated-, medium-oil-, short-oil- and vinyl toluene alkyd coating systems. It is free from hydroxyl, carboxyl and amine functional groups. It is based on a mixture of PM acetate and aromatic 100. It shows good light-, alkali- and acid fastness. It can be formulated with thermoplastic acrylic coatings. Tint-Ayd® ST 8451 is designed for concrete protection, general OEM, automotive OEM, and maintenance-, protective- and marine coatings. The shelf life of is 3 years.
