Tint-Ayd® FC 4226

Tint-Ayd® FC 4226 by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a red shade blue-colored copper-phthalocyanine pigment dispersion for water-based food contact coatings. It is designed for tinting and full pigmentation applications. It is formulated with water and propylene glycol. It exhibits light fastness, alkali- and acid resistance. It is compatible with water reducible and emulsion coatings systems such as acrylic, polyurethane (PUD) dispersion, vinyl acrylic, water-reducible acrylic, vinyl acetate, water-reducible alkyd, styrene-butadiene, water-reducible polyester, epoxy and water-reducible epoxy. It is stable, free-flowing and easy-to-use. It is used in most industrial coatings including container coatings, food wrap and coatings for food packaging plants. Its normal use levels for tinting are up to 5% and for deep tone and mass-tone colors is up to 12.5%. The shelf life of Tint-Ayd® FC 4226 is 4 years.
