SYNOXOL™ BEPD70L

SYNOXOL™ BEPD70L by Synthomer is a high-performance aliphatic diol with primary OH groups. It provides improved reactivity & bloom resistance (down to 140-160°C cure temperature), higher UV resistance and reduced gel time & energy cost in polyester powder coatings. It is used in the formulation of polyester polyols, or as a chain extender as part of polyurethane applications for coatings.

• It offers up to three times productivity improvement for powder coatings that utilize pyrimid-cured polyester resins.
• It is suitable for high solids, low-VOC polyester coil coatings for outdoor applications, providing improved hardness, flexibility, UV resistance, spreading rate and cost price.
• It imparts high flow & gloss, flexibility, abrasion-, chip- and chemical resistance in water-based polyurethane dispersions for wood- and automotive coatings, delivering environmentally friendly high-performance coatings.
• SYNOXOL™ BEPD70L is also used in saturated polyesters for can coatings.
