Kohshylmer® DMAPAA™-MHQ (N-(3-(Dimethylamino)propyl)acrylamide) by KJ Chemicals is a cationic amide monomer. It possesses high hydrolysis resistance and much stronger base strength (Pka= 10.35) than DMAEA™ and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate. It readily reacts with alkyl halide and with sulfuric ester to form quaternary ammonium salts.

Kohshylmer® DMAPAA™-MHQ (N-(3-(Dimethylamino)propyl)acrylamide) is recommended for dispersants, paints, coating materials and electrodeposition paints.
It complies with ENCS (Japan), REACH (EU), EINECS (China) and TCSI (Taiwan).
