Prifac™ 7996 by Croda is a cost-effective, modified fatty acid building block. It offers enhanced gloss, anti-scratch properties and flexibility to high-performance 2K alkyd paints used in industrial applications. It exhibits good pigment-wetting properties. It is a branched hydrocarbon chain showing enhanced solubility in most solvents. It is compatible with alkyd systems. Prifac™ 7996 is used in protective coatings.
