SILRES® BS 338

SILRES® BS 338 by Wacker is a non-ionic, solvent-free, water-dilutable emulsion of reactive polysiloxanes. It is used in undiluted form as an additive to improve the workability in aqueous indoor paints & coatings. It facilitates processing of hydrophobic, water-repellent coating materials and increases the storage stability.

• It enhances antiblocking, wetting and leveling properties which lead to a very even and smooth coating.
• It also improves the wet-scrub resistance of sol-silicate interior paints.
• SILRES® BS 338 is suitable for exterior paints & plasters and low-VOC interior paints & plasters.
• The recommended addition level is 1-3 wt%.
