Mergal® K14 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is a fast acting, water-soluble liquid bactericide and fungicide. It is a formulated isothiazolinone (CMIT/MIT) in-can preservative. It provides broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeast, mold, algae, and fungi. Mergal® K14 is used in waterborne paints, and other coating products where water is a component. The product is suited for systems with a pH of 3 up to approximately 8 or 9.
