HARDLEN® EW-8511

Modified chlorinated polyolefin with maleic anhydride. HARDLEN EW-8511 acts as a binder/primer that provides strong adhesion to polypropylene, TPO and EPDM substrates. It exhibits superior adhesion to PP or PP/EPDM without pre-treatment, excellent adhesion to topcoat paint such as polyurethane or polyester-melamine, tough, transparent film after coating and drying. It is a solvent free, water-based, flexible additive that has an excellent affinity for polyurethane based paints. The applied topcoat provides high degree of resistance to water and hydrocarbons when used as a primer on polypropylene. Complies with TSCA.
