TITANOS PRT-986 by Titanos is tetra-alkyl ammonium bentonite (organoclay) suitable for solvent-based systems of low to medium polarity. Exhibits high gelling efficiency, ideal thixotropy, anti-sagging, good dispersion and anti-sediment property. Imparts particle suspension, preventing hard settling of pigment and fillers. Recommended for acrylic & alkyd paints, baking paints, foundry paint, polyester paint, road paint, silica paint and inks. Other applications of TITANOS PRT-986 include solvent epoxy and zinc-rich paint. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.2%-2.0% of total formulation weight.
