TITANOS PRT-927 by Titanos is a tetra-alkyl ammonium bentonite (organoclay) suitable for solvent-based systems of high polarity. Shows high gelling efficiency over high polarity organic liquids especially in aromatic, alcohol and ketone. Imparts particle suspension & prevents hard settling of pigment and fillers. Produce reproducible thixotropic consistency over a wide temperature range. TITANOS PRT-927 is designed for acrylic, alkyd & primer paint, silica, bituminous, anti-corrosion and solvent epoxy paints, mineral oil & nitro inks, container, marine and industrial paints. Recommended dosage ranges from 0.2%-2.0% of total formulation weight.
