ROHAGIT™ SD 9523 by Synthomer is an anionic water-based dispersion of a butadiene acrylate copolymer. It acts as a thickener and is activated by increasing the pH from below neutral to about pH 9.0 or above.
  • It gives excellent pseudoplastic (shear thinning) properties to anionic and non-ionic systems.
  • Its advantages include easy to use liquid form, high stability, excellent efficiency, rapid thickening and resistance to synaeresis.
  • It imparts good anti-slump properties and maintains good wet strength in membrane applications.
  • It is suitable for use in coatings.
  • ROHAGIT™ SD 9523 has a shelf life of 12 months.
