Syna PI TPO by Synasia is a 2,4,6-Trimethyl benzoyldiphenyl phosphine oxide. It acts as a radical photo initiator. It can be used alone or in combination with other photo initiators. It is recommended for formulations containing unsaturated materials such as acrylates, methacrylates, vinyl and unsaturated polyesters. With exposure to UV light it undergoes a photochemical reaction that generates radicals which intiates polymerization through the unsaturated groups present in the system. Syna PI 907 is suitable for the UV curing of white pigmented formulations and thick clear coatings. It can also be combined with alpha cleavage photoinitiators such as Syna-PI 184 and Syna-PI 1173 to provide improved surface cure. It is recommended for screen inks, white flexographic- & off-set inks. The shelf life of the product is 2 years.
