Polymist® F284 by Syensqo is micronized PTFE based on an abrasion resisting agent. It is a medium molecular weight grade with excellent thermal stability and is composed of discrete particles. Offers excellent chemical- and temperature resistance, low surface energy, low coefficient of friction and good dispersion ability. Also provides improved mold release and stick-slip response, better wear resistance and increased pressure-velocity limits. Recommended for aircraft coatings (i.e. fuselage, wings), building and construction (metal curtain walls, siding, roofing, gutters, window, door trim, wood siding and decking), protective industrial and marine coatings, processing equipment, electrical and electronics, cookware and bakeware. Polymist® F284 is also applicable in lithographic, gravure and flexographic inks, toners, overprint varnishes, packaging coatings and aluminum can coatings.
