Silmer® ACR D208

Silmer® ACR D208 by Siltech acts as a compatibilzer in UV curing systems for coatings and 3D printing inks. It offers good release, slip and anti-blocking properties. It provides stain & mar resistance, surface smoothness, impact resistance and flexibility. It is a water-soluble and organic soluble multi-functional silicone acrylate prepolymer. It is also used to modify acrylate polymers to improve its surface and physical properties. The acrylate functionality gives permanent binding into the matrix of the polymers. The recommended amount for polymer modification is 2-20% and as an additive in UV curing system is 0.1-1.5%. Silmer® ACR D208 has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. This grade is listed in TSCA, NDSL, ENCS and TCSI international inventories.
