Polywet® Z-1766

Sodium salt of polyfunctional oligomer. Acts as a dispersing agent. It is a water-soluble anionic polyelectrolyte. It is non-foaming and allows reduction in the use of anti-foams and defoamers in coating formulations to help eliminate coating defects associated with some foam control aids. It is unaffected by the ions of hard water which cause polyphosphates to lose their dispersing efficiency. It is effective over a broad pH range and resists hydrolysis. It is used to disperse coating pigments.
