KP-120 by Shin-Etsu acts as a leveling agent. It is a high molecular weight, polyether modified polysiloxane. It is recommended for water-based paints and coatings for surface modification and to prevent defects. It shows low surface tension, surface migration and imparts anti-cissing property. KP-120 provides improved flow, smoother coating surface and improved wetting & spreading. The dosage level of the grade is 0.02-4.0%. It is TSCA listed.
