SST® –2P

SST® –2P by Shamrock is an off-white to light gray low molecular weight PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 8 μm. Acts as a mar/scuff, slip-, rub and abrasion resistance agent. Provides slip (low COF), high temperature resistance, mar/scuff, gloss retention, rub and abrasion resistance properties. SST® –2P by Shamrock is also for use in water-based, solvent-based, powder, and UV coatings. It is recommended for use in offset and liquid inks. It is recommened for use at 0.5-3% when used alone, or at 0.5-1% of total formula weight when used with 2-3% synthetic wax.
