S-275 by Shamrock is a synthetic wax blend that has components showing melting peaks ranging from 83 – 125°C. Acts as an abrasion resistance- and mar/scuff agent. Provides rub and abrasion resistance properties. S-275 by Shamrock is used in both air dry and baked coatings for solvent and aqueous systems at 1-3% of total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 175.320, 176.170, and 176.180.
