Sphere-fil® Ultrafine A

Sphere-fil® Ultrafine A is aluminosilicate glass spheres. Acts as a filler. It’s non-porous, spherical nature offers formulators the flexibility of higher loading levels when compared to conventional fillers such as calcium carbonate clay & talc. The unique particle size distribution contributes to an improved packing factor. This increase in packing factor permits it to be loaded to higher levels compared to traditional fillers while maintaining or improving the physical characteristics of the finished polymer system. Provides improved fire ratings, decreased process viscosities which translate into faster production rates, improved dimensional stability, decreased product weight, and improved economics. Suitable for use in high build coatings where it helps lowers VOC.
