Calfax® DB-45

Calfax® DB-45 by Pilot Chemical is sodium dodecyl diphenyl oxide disulfonate. It is an excellent emulsifier. It contains no halogenated solvents and is compatible with a broad range of acids, alkalis, chlorine and peroxide bleaches and builders such as sodium carbonate and sodium metasilicate. The branched side chain of Calfax® DB-45 offers improved emulsification. It also aids in improving a latex emulsion's thermal and mechanical stability. It is CFR 21 and 40 approved.
