Pidithane® PU 725

Pidithane® PU 725 by Pidilite Industries is a non-ionic, NPE- & APEO-free, polyurethane based thickener with very low VOC. It has stronger thickening efficiency in high shear range (ICI viscosity). It is free of heavy metals and solvents. It offers a unique newtonian rheology profile. It is compatible with acrylic, styrene acrylic and VAM based emulsion. It is hydrophobically modified polyether in water carrier. This pH-independent additive provides low impact on gloss, superior flow & leveling and excellent compatibility with tinting systems. It shows good stability against microbial degradation. Pidithane® PU 725 enhances film build and improves water resistance & color acceptance of coating. Also, prevents spattering during roller application there by reducing paint wastage while application. It can be added at any stage of paint manufacturing. Also, can be used along with cellulose and acrylic/hase thickeners. Recommended for water-based gloss, semi-gloss and interior/exterior emulsion paints. Also, used in clear coats. The shelf life of this product is 24 months from date of manufacture.
