Tallicin® K-14

Tallicin® K-14 by Pflaumer Brothers is a polymeric dispersing agent. It is suitable for organic and inorganic pigments in solvent-based coatings systems and pigment dispersions. It is compatible with epoxies, polyurethanes, polyaspartics etc.

• It improves pigment wetting, color development, stability of the dispersion, gloss and color strength.
• It allows the formulator to reduce the viscosity or increase the pigment loading in the mill base, thus improving both efficiency and cost of production.
• It acts to deflocculates pigments through steric hindrance, helping to reduce flooding and floating.
• Recommended dosage level is 2-20% based upon pigment weight if the surface area of the pigment is unknown.
