EXOdis PC416

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by PCC Exol
EXOdis PC416 by PCC Exol is a non-ionic surface-active agent used as a dispersing- & wetting agent in paints and varnishes. It is available as 90% clear aqueous solution. It offers superior stability of water-dilutable pigment concentrates. Due to the presence of anchoring groups, it shows strong affinity and excellent dispersing properties for organic pigments.
  • It prevents pigment sedimentation and significantly reduces pigment concentrate viscosity.
  • It improves concentrate tinctorial strength and provides excellent color stability during long-term storage of the product.
  • It is a VOC- & APEO-free, non-animal tested, environment friendly grade with low SVOC content.
  • It exhibits good emulsifying properties and is recommended for low to medium HLB organic wetting, carbon black & lamp black pigment wetting, and substrate wetting.
  • It can replace nonylphenol ethoxylates with HLB 11-13.
  • EXOdis PC416 is compatible with inorganic pigments, fillers, polyacrylate-based dispersants, rheology modifiers and anti-foaming agents.
  • It meets current standards for eco labels.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.1-1% as wetting agents for paints, and 5-25% of pigment weight in pigment concentrates.
