PAT-ADD DA 105A

Is an approx. 40% solids polymeric dispersing agent for inorganic pigments in water. Enables high pigment loading in the mill-base, contributes to best opacity, gloss and paint storage stability. It is strongly adsorbed onto inorganic pigments and extenders, thus creating a dense charged layer, which contributes to electrostatic stabilisation of the dispersed pigment and extender particles. The tendency of pigment flocculation, during paint production, storage or application is reduced, whereas properties like viscosity stability on storage, color development, opacity, scrub-resistance are being optimised, using PAT-ADD DA 105A. Reduces the viscosity of the mill-base, enabling highest pigment loadings and best economics. Offers reduced pigment grinding time, strong prevention of pigment flocculation, floating, flooding and pigment settling. Used in dispersion paints and similar applications.
