Omyabrite 1300 X

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Omya
Omyabrite 1300 X by Omya is a modified calcium carbonate (MCC)-based mineral filler for water-based coatings. It has high specific surface area and absorption characteristics. It boosts dry opacity, supports the wet opacity, reduces sheen to low levels and improves mechanical properties such as wet scrub resistance. It offers high brightness, low yellowness, reliable and constant product quality. It provides good cost performance ratio and high matting efficiency. Used in matt & semi-matt decorative paints at medium pigment volume concentration (PVC) levels and can also be used in small percentages at higher PVC formulations to boost the opacity. The lower carbon footprint of Omyabrite 1300 X versus titanium dioxide leads to a lower carbon footprint of paint formulations.
