Hakuenka CCR-S by Omya is an ultrafine, coated precipitated calcium carbonate (UFPCC) designed for water-reducible thermosetting topcoat. Provides high gloss, good body, good sprayability, improved surface quality and excellent storage stability. It boosts opacity and offers enhanced titanium dioxide performance through spacing effect and pigment stabilization. It provides high brightness, reduced carbon footprint and optimized formulation cost. It is used as an alternative to synthetic barium sulphate and rheological modifiers in high-gloss industrial coatings such as drum coatings. Hakuenka CCR-S is recommended for solvent- and water-based gloss & semi-gloss decorative and industrial paints and coatings.
