PolyGlide 1226XF by Micro Powders acts as a surface modifier. It is highly engineered high density polyethylene (HDPE) composite reinforced with hard, inert ceramic microspheres and nanoceramic platelets. It offers improved taber abrasion resistance when compared to PE/PTFE additives. It provides slip and lubricity.

It is designed for water-based, solvent-based and energy curable coatings and inks.
PolyGlide 1226XF is used in industrial coatings (plastic, metal), stains, sealers and varnishes, wood-, powder-, can-, container-, and coil coatings as well as printing inks and OPVs (flexo and gravure).
It is FDA 21CFR 175.300 approved.
Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% on total formula weight.
