Polyfluo® 523AL

Polyfluo® 523AL by Micro Powders is a highly engineered HDPE/ PTFE/ Alumina nano-composite wax additive for unsurpassed scratch and scuff resistance. It exhibits maximum abrasion resistance with slip and lubricity. The composite is reinforced with 300 nm aluminum oxide nanoparticles (Mohs Hardness 9.0). It provides excellent gloss retention, film clarity and good dispersibility. It is suitable for water based, solvent-based and energy curable coatings and inks. Polyfluo® 523AL is used in stains, sealers, varnishes, flexo, gravure and printing inks. It is also used in coil-, industrial (plastic and metal)-, wood- and powder coatings. Recommended addition level of 0.5-1.5%.
