MPP-123AL

MPP-123AL by Micro Powders acts as a surface modifier based on highly engineered low density polyethylene wax (LDPE) reinforced with 300 nm aluminum oxide nanoparticles. It offers unsurpassed scratch and scuff resistance for anti-slip surfaces. It provides excellent anti-blocking properties.

• It is less abrasive on processing equipment compared to free aluminum oxide and is an effective replacement for PTFE additives.
• It does not lower coefficient of friction like high density polyethylene grades.
• It is designed for water-based and solvent-based coatings and inks.
• MPP-123AL is used in industrial coatings (including plastic, metal), architectural wall and trim paints, wood-, powder-, coil-, floor coatings as well as printing inks and OPVs (flexo and gravure).
• Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% on total formula weight.
