MP-28AL by Micro Powders acts as a surface modifier based on engineered synthetic wax and aluminum oxide nanocomposite. It offers improved scratch, scuff and mar resistance. It is biodegradable to OECD 302C test standard. It exhibits surface slip, lubricity and excellent gloss retention.

It is designed for water-based, solvent-based and energy-curable coatings and inks.
MP-28AL finds application in industrial (including plastic, metal, masonry), stains, sealers, varnishes, wood-, powder-, coil coatings as well as printing inks and OPVs (including flexo and gravure).
Recommended dosage level is 1.0-3.0% on total formula weight.
