Microspersion® 1406 by Micro Powders is an aqueous non-ionic sub-micron PTFE dispersion. Provides enhanced lubricity, gloss retention, abrasion resistance, and temperature resistance. Its higher surface area gives equal or better performance to larger particle size PTFE at lower use levels. Microspersion® 1406 is used in waterborne wood lacquers, high gloss finishes for plastics & metals, aqueous overprint varnishes and packaging coatings. Its recommended level is 0.5-1% based on the total formulation.
