Stearyl-3-(3’,5’-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate. Acts as an organotin-free, sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant and effective, non-discoloring stabilizer. It provides excellent long-term heat stability by preventing thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and service life. It also provides good compatibility with resins and excellent extraction resistance. It is easily incorporated by melting techniques due to its low melting point and offers reduced health and environmental concerns. It enables excellent resistance to extraction, low volatility, improvement of long-term stability and ease of compatibility with other stabilizers. Used in urethane and acrylic coatings. The recommended dosage is 500 ppm-2000 ppm. Approved by FDA.
