HEXAFOR™ 692 by Maflon is a polymeric fluorinated additive for solvent-based systems. It reduces surface tension, cratering, fish eyes, and orange peel effects. It improves wetting and leveling properties. HEXAFOR™ 692 is based on short-chain fluorinated monomers containing 6 perfluorinated carbon atoms, that cannot breakdown to PFOA in the environment. It is suitable for automotive-, industrials-, can-, wood- and furniture coatings.
