Lubrizol® 2062

Mixed alkyl/aryl phosphate ester. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Is also an effective metal pretreatment. Improves adhesion of coatings onto metal substrates. Enhances corrosion resistance. Incorporates easily. Does not adversely impact storage stability. May enhance the adhesion of coatings applied to poorly prepared substrates. Reduces flash rust. Used in coil coatings, industrial coatings based on thermosetting alkyds, thermosetting acrylics, thermosetting polyesters and lacquers.
