Lanco™ TF 1788

Lanco™ TF 1788 by Lubrizol is a micronized & classified polytetrafluoroethylene-modified polyethylene wax. It offers very good slip and abrasion resistance in solvent-based & powder coatings. It exhibits very low coefficients of friction while maintaining excellent compatibility and dispersibility. It provides good scratch resistance due to hardness of wax combination. It shows good metal marking resistance. It is recommended for can & coil coatings and powder & industrial coatings. It is suitable for wood coatings, UV-curing coatings, overprint varnishes and flexo & gravure inks. Lanco™ TF 1788 is compatible with acrylics, alkyds, polyurethanes, N/C & N/C combination finishes, epoxies, polyesters and hybrid systems. The dosage level of the grade to improve the surface properties such as slip- & scratch resistance and for matting is 0.5-2.0% based on total formulation weight. The re-test date of the product is 1825 days after date of manufacturing.
