Lanco™ TF 1778 by Lubrizol is a micronized and classified, PTFE-modified polyethylene wax. Exhibits antiblocking properties, good dispersibility and metal marking-, scuffing-, slip- and abrasion resistance. Provides very good slip without affecting gloss and DOI. Compatible with acrylics, PU, alkyds, polyester, epoxies, N/C and N/C combination finishes. Lanco™ TF 1778 is used in solvent-based can and coil coatings, powder and industrial coatings, wood finishes and UV curing coatings, overprint varnishes, flexo and gravure inks. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-2% to improve surface properties and 1-5% to provide matting. It has a shelf life of 1825 days.
