KVIS-100 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as a plasticizer and wetting agent. It is a clear, pure, non-toxic and chemically inert polyisobutylene (PIB) grade. It works as a functional component in many special purpose paints and coatings.

It helps to reduce manufacturing costs and provides improved water repellency than the commercial acrylic-based systems.
It offers low color, excellent adhesion and plasticization of the final film.
It possesses the ability to replace volatile solvents.
KVIS-100 is designed for hot-applied thermoplastic road marking paints, and waterproofing protection for porous substrates such as wood or concrete.
It is also used in masonry paints, as an environmentally acceptable alternative to chlorinated plasticizer.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
