KVIS-10 by Kothari Petrochemicals acts as a plasticizer and wetting agent. It is a viscous, non-toxic and chemically inert polyisobutylene (PIB) grade. It is used as a functional component in many special purpose paints and coatings.

It provides low color, excellent adhesion and plasticization of the final film.
It helps to reduce manufacturing costs and offers improved water repellency than the commercial acrylic-based systems.
It possesses the ability to replace volatile solvents.
It is used in masonry paints, as an environmentally acceptable alternative to chlorinated plasticizer.
KVIS-10 is designed for hot-applied thermoplastic road marking paints, and waterproofing protection for porous substrates such as wood or concrete.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
