Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate by Jungbunzlauer acts as a pH regulator. It chelates metal ions and buffers pH in paints, coatings and inks applications. It is a tribasic salt of citric acid, produced by complete neutralization with high purity sodium hydroxide or carbonate and subsequent crystallization.

It occurs as white, granular crystals or as white, crystalline powder with a pleasant, salty taste.
It is slightly deliquescent in moist air, freely soluble in water and practically insoluble in ethanol.
Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate is a non-toxic, neutral salt with low reactivity.
It is chemically- & microbiologically stable and fully biodegradable.
It is affirmed as GRAS by US FDA and complies to GMP (CFR § 184.1751) & REACH regulations.
