ISCATHIX® SR

ISCATHIX® SR by ISCA is an organic amide-based 100% active rheological additive. It imparts thixotropic properties into a wide range of systems. This additive is used for general industrial paints & coatings, 2K epoxy primers and top-coats, 2K polyurethanes, chlorinated rubbers, thermoplastic acrylics, 2K isocyanate-free acrylics, road marking paints, high solids systems and floor paints. Also used for architectural & high solids alkyd paints, sealers, undercoats, primers, heavy duty/ marine coatings, air drying industrial paints, nitrocellulose lacquers, hammer finishes, solvent-free epoxy & alkyd-amino acid coatings, aerosol paints, printing inks and PVC plastisols / organosols. ISCATHIX® SR provides resistance to seeding & false body effects, excellent sag resistance, minimal gloss reduction and improved brush ability. It is very tolerant to strong solvents and high process temperatures. The recommended level of addition is 0.5-2.0% (calculated on total formulation). It can be incorporated during the pigment dispersion stage of coating manufacturing. This additive can be storage even at elevated temperatures.
