Mica. MU 280 is a speciality mineral of fine particle size with high performance. It provides textured finishes and novel optical effects. It works in solvent-based coatings. Recommended applications involve industrial coatings like heat resistant and intumescent applications. But it can also be used in decorative coatings like interior and exterior matt, stucco exterior matt, industrial coatings like metal primers, wood coatings and traffic marking paints.
