Natural diatomite. Diafil® 530 by Imerys acts as a matting agent in paints in the form of diatomaceous earth. It is a low crystalline silica matting agent suitable for a wide range of applications. Being a natural mineral product, every deposit has its own characteristics and these results in different coating properties. Diafil® 530 can be used in water based decorative paints in interior and exterior matts, undercoats, solvent-based semi-gloss & eggshell, matt, primers & undercoats.
